About Reincarnation and the Karma Law
One week gone, time to let go. It’s easier to go then to stay, - for us, who stay is difficult to let go. So I make my thoughts about afterlife. Trying to write a decent entry.. Also feel it’s a waste of time, nevermind. Hoping there is kind of afterlife, maybe reincarnation keep us believe we are eternal. That we could keep a bit of ourselves after dying, maybe a sparkle of awareness, or the soul. Have you ever watched the movie “what dreams may come”, or read the book? The things could be just like told there; - we create our own heaven or hell in the otherworld. Reincarnation means if one dies something of oneself is reborn in another body to another Earth-life. It includes the belief that one has lived before and will live again in another body after death. Some says the bodies one passes in has not to be necessarily human, - it could be animal, or even some vegetables, plants. I believe if there is this kind of reborn then we do have to live again as humans, - we have far more consciousness than fruits or animals. We are not the superior beings wandering on Earth, yet we have kind of much awareness and capability to build up our potentials more than animals. We are multidimensional and special beings.
The Law of Karma or the Law of Cause and Effect implies that if you do good deeds, should good happen to you: “As you do unto others, it will be done unto you.” We have the freedom (more or less) to live our lives how we will to, - good or bad are only two ends of an endless scale we can act. Doing pain and death to others consequently means you have to experience also this pain or death in this, - or one of your next life. Simply: “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” -sounds familiar? Yet special beings as we obviously are we have here also the freedom to choose which way we will pay back our debts if we get aware of our destiny. Therefore Destiny can be defined as a sum of our deeds in this life and other lives we had before, including our character, habits, attitudes, aptitudes. One can consequently choose his own destiny by changing the habits and attitude, by carefully choosing the thoughts and acts every day. Living by the sword, dying by the sword doesn’t necessarily mean we have to die oppressive death. We can choose to live life as a doctor, - operating (living with the sword here as scalpel) in hospital, saving lives, so helping sick people.
Another interesting point is the Reincarnation-therapy. It helps people to cope fears and problems in this life through kind of channelling, travelling back to ones past life wherefrom the fear comes. Example: if one has been drowned in earlier life, it could be the possible cause of fearing water this life. One could travel in deep meditation to that past life and re-cognize the moment where the accident happened and could so bear down the fear with several techniques. Those techniques are dangerous, such meditations are not to make alone, and they are not only innocent games. So far so good, if this works is a good method to get rid of some disorder in ones life. The problem is some case the people believing in Reincarnation and Karma tend to forget the life here and now, I know some people they try to explain everything with this principles. Seeing everywhere signs of past lives, even in a simple bar getting a red coffee cup not a blue one. Not to overanalyze things is here good, not loosing the common sense, being grounded in here and now but also being open for new is the key as for so many things in life…
