Living by the Myth    

In a life of a modern people myths and mythology does not have so much meaning like in early years.
Mythological tales are only stories of past cultures, without practical value, not worth wasting much time in it.
I do not think this way. I do believe the solution of all our problems lies in the myth, deep buried in our subconscious.
We do live our everyday life through myths and the rules of myth do we admit it or not.
Just to mention our concept of time.

There was the Earth,- not flat but massive, constant ball, something kind the Russian puppet with (rotating) other spheres in the middle of it. In each of this sphere was a Planet allocated,- the seven known planets: Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Each of this planets and spheres got its unique musical tones, called the tones of the spheres. This tones conform with our diatonic gamut.

Also was each of them a Metal assigned to, Silver, Lead, Quicksilver, Copper, Gold, Iron, Tin.

While the soul was climbing down to born on Earth in the material plain, took on its way down through the seven spheres the attributes of this metals, planets etc. so that each soul and body are connections of this elements of the Universe and they sing the harmonic song with them. So should the music and art – after this sight of view – make us susceptible for godly grace, the Universe to live a complete, harmonic and fulfilled life - although the everyday life does us distract with it through stress and business.

The seven free arts were also assigned to this model: grammar, logics, rhetoric – the Trivium, and arithmetic, music, geometry and astronomy – the Quadrivium.

The crystalline spheres were populated with several ghosts, gods and other inorganic elementar-beings like angels, sirens and elves. And over it all ruled the God, sitting in his great throne, in light and almightiness. After death went the soul exact the same long way up to its creator in heaven through this seven spheres and dropped in each single sphere its attributes like clothes.

Yes, myths were in the old times the ideals, the pillows for urban cultures, connected with their own gods – whos grace was valid for this people. We have only peaces of this great mythology which once donated and carried this cultures.
Our global civilization haven’t bear yet some kind a collective global myths to follow and live by, only thing we can do is to research the old myths and rites of nations and cultures we live.
The old gods are dead and the new ones are not born yet..

But we should not wait for the birth of this overall collective mythology, we should start to build our own myth we can live by day by day.

We need to live by myth to become full and complete humans,
and to find our real place and destination in the Universe.
Without that we would be only a sinless vegetating biological organism
with aim to eat, work, sleep and reproduce itself.

Is it enough to live life like that?
Like zombies without magic and spirituality in our life?
For a  rational  mind maybe. For him is it easy to explain
the life with science and approved facts.
Through  laboratoric experiments, theses and hypotheses.

But life and the Universe is much more than that,
it is much more complex, there are things,
that cant be explained without implying miracles, magic, spirituality, myths and mythology.

To start living life fully we must explore our own mythological roots.
Starting with our ancestors,  through folklore and tales to modern time.
Trying to find kind a "red-twine" through our national,- and personal history.
What were the goals and aims of old people, how have they lived,
what kind of beliefs they had, how did they solved their problems?
Reaching to the time of our own birth we can analyse the life we conduct.
To catch our  red-twine.
This could be a catalyser for individual forthcoming to heal and carry our wholeness,
spiritual being, our eternal soul each of us.
We should explore this essence of the myths,
that eternal something which can be still present
and could show us a way to walk on.

And to ask the questions: where am I coming from?
What do I do here, just now, in this age of time? Why right now?
Where do I go? What is the essence of my life?
What for concepts and paradigm do I follow?
Who made these concepts for me?
Where are my strengths and where are my weaknesses?

For me is this point of myth such important and significant ,
and I can explore through it my own soul, ideals,
concepts and paradigm.

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void;

So the Spirit of God moved through the heaven and on the earth and commanded that the extra dimensions should curl up on themselves, and become compact. And God looked upon it, and saw that while it was not actually good, it was better than it might have been, because at least he had light.."
